Lania and Michael Berger share a passion for dance and exceptional customer service that stems from their time as performers at Walt Disney World in Florida. Their experience with The Walt Disney Company not only refined their skills as dancers and entertainers but also instilled in them a deep commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. This dedication to excellence is at the heart of everything they do at Arthur Murray Dance Studios, where they prioritize creating a warm, welcoming, and high-quality learning environment for their students.

Lania’s Background

Beyond her time at Walt Disney World, Lania has an impressive background in the entertainment industry. She has performed internationally, including Tokyo Disneyland in Japan, and appeared in various television and film productions, such as:

  • The Christina Applegate movie Just Visiting
  • The cable TV show Jackson Street
  • Studio 10 TV, FOX News, NBC's Daytime, The List, and Take 5 Productions
  • Janus Theatrical Players & Richey Suncoast Theatre

Lania’s talents extend beyond performance to choreography, where she has worked on:

In addition to her expertise in contemporary ballroom dance, Lania is a dance historian with a special passion for historical dance styles. She is particularly well-versed in the Edwardian Era and the work of Vernon and Irene Castle, bringing the elegance of historical dance forms to life for her students.

Lania’s dedication to community service continues in her role as a Board Member for Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind in Pasco County. Additionally, she serves as Assistant Area 3 Chairperson for Arthur Murray International and has been a featured trainer at Area Trainings nationwide, as well as at AMI’s International Franchisee Convention.

Arthur's Interns

Arthur’s Interns is a dynamic community outreach program designed to empower local high school students by building confidence, developing professional business skills, and introducing them to the world of ballroom dance. Since its launch in 2013, this 8-week program has helped countless students grow both personally and professionally, with some even pursuing careers as professional ballroom dancers.
